John Lee Pittman Jr. is charged with stealing more than $1,100 worth of items from a local Walmart.

John Lee Pittman Jr., a 32-year-old from Hustontown, was arrested in East Freedom, Pennsylvania, for shoplifting over $1,100 worth of goods from a Walmart. The stolen items included ammunition and bacon. Pittman is facing charges of theft, receiving stolen property, and possession of a firearm prohibited. The incident occurred when Freedom Township Police were alerted to a man trying to exit Walmart without paying for a cart full of items. Upon apprehension, Pittman was found with nearly 140 stolen items, including meats and five boxes of Remington brand 12 gauge shotgun shells, totaling approximately $1,180 in value. Pittman, who also had an outstanding burglary warrant in Fulton County, could not afford the $10,000 bond and is currently detained at Blair County Prison.
